Licenses & Login
How PRO licenses are generated, how to activate them, how to sign in, and how your data syncs across devices.
How Licensing Works
MeetingCost PRO uses a license key system. When you purchase, a unique license key is generated and tied to your email address. You enter this key once in the extension to unlock PRO features. The key is verified against the MeetingCost license server and stored locally — you don't need to enter it again unless you reinstall or clear browser data.
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX — 16 characters in four groups of four, separated by dashes. Keep your license key safe. It's tied to your email and can be reused across reinstalls.Purchasing via Gumroad (Card)
-
1Go to the MeetingCost purchase page Click Get MeetingCost on meetingcostpro.com or the Chrome Web Store listing.
-
2Complete checkout on Gumroad Enter your email and payment details. Choose monthly ($19.99) or yearly ($199.99).
-
3Check your email Gumroad sends a receipt email immediately after purchase. Your license key is included in this email. It looks like
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. -
4Activate the license in the extension See Activating Your License below.
Purchasing with Crypto (Stablecoins)
MeetingCost accepts stablecoin payments directly inside the extension — no third-party checkout page. Supported currencies: USDT on Tron, USDC on Solana, USDC on Base. Crypto pricing is 20% lower than card pricing.
-
1Open the extension popup and click "Pay with Crypto" This opens the in-extension crypto payment flow.
-
2Select your plan and network Choose monthly ($15.99) or yearly ($159.99), then select your preferred network (Tron, Solana, or Base).
-
3Send the exact amount to the displayed wallet address The payment screen shows a wallet address and the exact amount to send. Use your crypto wallet to send the payment. The extension monitors the blockchain for confirmation.
-
4License is generated automatically Once the transaction confirms on-chain, MeetingCost generates your license key automatically and unlocks PRO features. No email needed — the license is tied to your transaction hash and wallet address.
Activating Your License
Once you have your license key, here's how to activate it:
-
1Open the MeetingCost popup Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar.
-
2Click "Open Dashboard" or "Activate PRO" If your license isn't active, you'll see an activation prompt either in the popup or when you try to open the PRO dashboard.
-
3Enter your license key The activation screen shows a text field labeled License key. Paste your key in the format
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. -
4Click "Activate license" The extension verifies your key against the MeetingCost server. On success, PRO features unlock immediately and the dashboard opens.
Signing In (Cloud Sync)
Signing in with a MeetingCost account is optional but recommended. It enables cross-device sync — your meeting history, settings, and dashboard data are backed up to Firebase Firestore under your user ID and restored when you sign in on another device.
How to sign in
-
1Open the PRO dashboard Click the extension icon → Open Dashboard.
-
2Click "Sign In" in the dashboard header This opens the sign-in form. Enter your email and password. If you're a new user, you can create an account from the same screen.
-
3Your data syncs automatically Once signed in, meeting history, templates, and dashboard settings sync to the cloud and are restored on any device where you sign in with the same account.
Signing Out & Reinstalling
To sign out, click Sign Out in the dashboard header. Your local data remains intact — signing out only disconnects the cloud sync. To fully reset the extension, uninstall it from Chrome. This removes all locally stored data from chrome.storage.local.
If you reinstall or move to a new device, sign in with your account to restore your cloud-synced data, then re-enter your license key if prompted.
Lost Your License Key?
If you purchased via Gumroad, check your original purchase email. Gumroad also has a license key lookup at app.gumroad.com/library. If you paid with crypto, your license is tied to your transaction — contact support with your transaction hash and we'll recover it.
